About Sugba Lagoon

Added by BooqaPlace

Sugba Lagoon sits deep in the mangroves of Del Carmen, on the west side of Siargao. The boat ride there is half the trip: about 45 minutes from the Del Carmen port, winding through channels of mangroves before the water opens up into the lagoon.

Once there, you can swim, paddleboard or kayak across the lagoon, or jump off the floating platform. Go early, before the tour boats arrive, when the water is calmest. Bring cash for the boat and the environmental fee, reef-safe sunscreen, and a dry bag.
